Prices & Details for an OFFICE WEDDING – similar to Justice-of-the-Peace… but better!
Minimum deposit of 25% is REQUIRED. Your wedding date is not secure on our calendar until we have receipt of your deposit AND your booking form. Remaining balance is due 10 DAYS BEFORE YOUR WEDDING DAY.

WHAT ARE THE OFFICE HOURS: We don’t keep standard office hours! Any office wedding must be made by appointment. We completely understand life is busy and sometimes a little crazy, so we can be available evenings, weekends, lunch hours, and sometimes in the wee hours of the early morning. CALL AHEAD for a same-day appointment. NOTE: Appointments before 8am or after 8pm will incur additional $50 fee.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE: Plan to spend about 10-20 minutes in our office. We’ll take a few fun minutes to get to know the happy couple before we exchange Wedding Vows. Feel free to prepare your own vows, and definitely bring your camera… this is Your Wedding Day! Arrive as casual or formal as you want.
WHO CAN I BRING: It’s perfectly fine to bring some guests to witness your vows. (NOTE: Witnesses are NOT required by Texas Law.) Keep in mind: our office really small and it’s not a Chapel – We can accommodate the happy couple and NO MORE THAN 2 ADULT-SIZE GUESTS… please do not invite any more people to our office. Any extra guests will be asked to wait in our building lobby.
Note: decorating / loud music / confetti / candles are not allowed.
If you desire to bring a group of more than 2 guests, please ask us for a list of venues we work with. INDICATE YOUR NEEDS ON THE “BOOK US NOW” FORM.
WHERE IS THE OFFICE / WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE: Our office is inside the Heritage Office Suites building at 1000 Heritage Center Circle, Round Rock, TX 78664. The rear parking lot has a handicap accessible entrance.
“LEGAL ONLY” APPOINTMENT: We can make your marriage legal through a NON-ceremonial appointment. Please indicate on the BOOK US NOW form that you need a “Legal Only” appointment. We’d be happy to take care of you! This type of appointment is an alternative to the Justice-of-the-Peace type of wedding.
HOW DO I PAY:
- CASH -or- DEBIT/CREDIT
- CHECK/MONEY ORDER payable to SHORT AND SWEET WEDDINGS (must be rec’d 14 days before ceremony)
- CASH must be received prior to your appointment
- 25% of all appointments are non-refundable. See Cancellation Penalty or Reschedule without Penalty policy listed below.
- NO WALK-INS, you must pre-pay for your appointment (Call us if you need a same-day appointment! We will help you if we can!)
- Effective 5-1-24, all invoices include an administrative fee to cover transaction fees
Late Fee: CEREMONIES or APPOINTMENTS STARTING MORE THAN 30 MINUTES LATE WILL INCUR $50 FEE. Your Officiant will collect the late fee prior to performing your appointment, please have debit/credit card or cash ready.
Cancellation Penalty: Any cancellation within 30 days of the appointment is 100% non-refundable. 25% of all appointments are non-refundable.
Reschedule without Penalty: Please alert Short and Sweet Weddings ASAP with your intention to reschedule. You have 7 days from the date you notify us to make a new appointment. The new date must occur within 30 days of your originally scheduled appointment. All appointments are subject to Officiant availability. Failure to comply with these rules will result in forfeiture of your payment.
